Ian is a fourth year undergraduate at UNC Chapel Hill working towards a B.S. in Computer Science. He is currently utilizing Python scripting, Google Earth Engine derived satellite imagery, and climate data to study the impact of adaptive grazing techniques on mid-western rangeland vegetation health and regeneration. His previous coursework has involved climate data research and analysis on the effects of El Nino and La Nina on food security in at risk countries. He is interested in pursuing applications of software development and data analysis for creating and informing sustainable practices for food production and land management.
